English below

Licences & credits

COCOFLY’s own code is MIT. Below is other people’s work that Coco is built on, and the terms under which it is used. The full technical text lives in THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.md and NOTICE in the repository.

Sounds

Real recordings from SoundBible.com, trimmed and looped for the game: buzzing, wing beats, thunder, drops and the splash — Mike Koenig; rain — Mark DiAngelo; the city outside — lezer (all CC BY 3.0). The siren (Mike Koenig) and the running tap (Lisa Redfern) are public domain. Every other sound is synthesised for COCOFLY (CC0).

Science

The neuron cloud is a simplified subsample of the connectome; the activity clips are a simple simulation on the real wiring, not a claim about how the living brain works. Sources and papers are on the Science page. COCOFLY is not affiliated with or endorsed by EPFL, Janelia or the other authors.
